Each row is a different scale of organization: from the structure of being itself, down to the texture of a single life. Among the three, the substitutability is not symmetric. Wealth can sometimes buy health (better food, less stress, top doctors). Health can sometimes buy happiness (energy, presence, the body's hum). But happiness cannot buy health, and health cannot buy wealth. The asymmetry yields a practical rule: when allocating attention across decades, weight the irreversible. Health, once lost severely, is the hardest to reacquire. The left column is what humanity has built when it analyzed: language for slicing the world into nouns, writing for fixing thoughts to surfaces, mathematics for proving that one thing implies another. The right column is what humanity has built when it integrated: music for binding emotion across time, cinema for collapsing twenty senses into one image, intuition for arriving at conclusions whose proof is invisible. Neither column is superior. The two are not adversaries — they are co-extensions. The question is not which wins. Enterprise: who creates trend in a world where models predict trends before humans notice them? Hold the right column for the human. Refuse to let either side give up its end of the duality. Ask a candidate which plane is currently strongest in their life and which is weakest. The honesty of the answer correlates more strongly with long-term performance than most credentialed signals. Apply the Nation triad — democracy, rule of law, human rights — to any country and ask, on a scale of 0 to 10, how is each leg doing? The pattern matters more than the average. A 9/9/2 is more fragile than a 6/6/6, even though the average is higher. The longest-arc use: aim to send a child into adulthood with at least baseline literacy in every value on every plane. Most cultures over-train two or three and under-train the rest.
